Congratulations to Maggie Ball who has left to take up her place at Middlesex University, where she is studying for a BA Honours Degree in Dance performance for ballet, contemporary and street dance. Maggie followed in her older sister’s footsteps and started dancing at Pointeworks when she was just three years old, gaining either High Merits or Distinctions for all RAD examinations up to her final exam which was Intermediate.
We wish Maggie lots of luck - she will be missed!

I would particularly like to congratulate Abi Brayford, whom I’ve taught for 14 years. Although Covid lockdowns resulted in disruption to our planned exam timetable, undeterred Abi attended regular on-line zoom classes with me during all three lockdowns. Hanging on to kitchen worktops and various other surfaces just to ensure continuity with her training! Since emerging from the 2021 lockdown she has completed RAD Grades 6, 7 and 8 examinations, taking her Grade 7 in December 2022 and her Grade 8 just seven months later in July 2023, gaining a High Merit for the latter. which is quite an accomplishment! Well done Abi!
